In honor of Eartha Kitt, who passed at 81 on Christmas day, we have composed a little dedication to the Dynamic Vintage Divas that paved the platinum and gold walkway for our current divas. These women had wicked style, were sickeningly sexy and constantly classy. The best thing about them is that their beauty is timeless and their impact helped change the way we view ourselves as black women, and the way the rest of the world views us. They helped give black women confidence and inspired most of the trends that we are into today. Yes we still have a ways to go, but they’ve taken the most difficult steps for us.
